Bahamas golf vacation at the Atlantis
(St. Louis, USA)
We were two couples and stayed at the Reef at the Atlantis Hotel for 4 nights and it was really better than expected. The Reef really met our needs, great casino and spa. It was a quiet retreat and since we were all golfers it was a great treat to go out and play the Ocean Club.
I had seen it on Big Break so we were all looking forward to it. The course was in excellent condition. Wide open resort layout, but with beautiful views, especially the homes. There were enough features to the course to make it challenging. The winds also make things interesting. It is not cheap to play but what is on Parasise Island.
As for the meals one night we ate at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill, I had eaten at the Las Vegas location and felt it was better, but it was still good.
As for the Atlantis as a place to stay, there is plenty to do and it is not difficult to get to the other parts of resort. The shuttles are frequent and we also enjoyed walking. If I go back, I'd certainly stay at the Reef.
